Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County). Devonte Smith, as a result of the incident outside Crane Tech High School, was charged with one (1) count of first-degree murder in the matter of People v. Smith, Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, Case No. 08 CR 6927.
