Phlebotomist employed by Maxim Healthcare Services was working at ACL Laboratories in the Advocate Southwest Tinley Park Campus when F-22 presented for a routine blood draw. Plaintiff alleged Maxim's agent negligently probed and twisted the needle in her attempts to find a vain in the plaintiff's right elbow, which resulted in damage to the plaintiff's ulnar and/or medial nerve. Plaintiff continues to experience weakness in her right arm/hand, as well as periodic shock-like arm pain.
