49-year-old Female Postal Worker Injured When Rear-Ended on Residential Street

On February 2, 2018, F-49 was operating a United States Postal Service (“USPS”) mail truck in her capacity as a mail carrier for the USPS. At or near 3:25 p.m., F-49 was parked on a residential street when she was rear-ended by a male driving a 2017 Audi G7. The force of the impact knocked the USPS truck off the street and up onto the parkway.

Injuries: As a result of the accident, F-49 sustained a mild traumatic brain injury (“mTBI”), post-concussion syndrome, neck pain, back pain, and right shoulder injury requiring surgery. Plaintiff’s husband, also, had a loss of consortium claim.
